Fall review

Applications received by this date are considered for the mid-October meeting.

All applications received by the deadlines are reviewed at one of the Foundation's semi-annual Board meetings. All applicants are notified in writing of the outcome.

Who can apply

Registered charity in Canada, operating within Bruce and Grey counties.

Services that align with the Foundation's mission:

• Supporting individuals with physical or mental challenges

• Promoting healthy lifestyles, wellness, or community well-being

• Strengthening the non-profit sector

What we look for

The proposed initiative should improve quality of life, accessibility, health, or community well-being, with a clear community benefit and a well-defined need.

• Objectives, outcomes, and evaluation are clearly outlined

• Strong governance, responsible financial management, and stability

The Pryde Foundation does not fund:

  • General or non-specific annual fundraising campaigns
  • Debt retirement
  • Political or sectarian organizations
  • Organizations that are fully government-funded
  • Individuals
  • Bricks and mortar capital projects (major construction), unless the project demonstrates exceptional benefit to individuals with physical or mental challenges or significantly enhances community well-being. These applications may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    Completed application form

    One complete application package, signed by an authorized officer of the organization.

    Current financial picture

    Most recent financial statements and an annual or project-specific budget.

  3. 03

    Proof of registration

    Include the organization’s charitable registration number.

  4. 04

    A clear program picture

    Add a brochure or overview when it helps explain the work.

After funding

Tell us what changed.

Within one year, recipients share a one-page follow-up report and a photograph of the program in action. It helps us understand the impact and share the story responsibly. If a project does not proceed as planned, the organization must notify the Foundation promptly so the Board may determine whether funds should be returned.
